The Congress party has released a manifesto in the background of the assembly elections. The Congress party in its manifesto has promised to ban the Bajrang Dal.
The Congress in its May 10 assembly election manifesto on Tuesday promised to repeal all unjust and anti-people laws enacted by the BJP government in Karnataka within a year of coming to power in the state.
It was released in the presence of leaders like Siddaramaiah, DK Shivakumar, Randeep Singh Surjewala, Dr G Parameshwar, including AICC President Mallikarjuna Kharge at the KPCC office in Bangalore.
The Congress party is committed to take firm and decisive action against individuals and organizations that spread hatred against communities on the basis of caste and religion, the Congress party said in its manifesto.
The party said it would take "decisive action" as per the law, including banning Bajrang Dal, Popular Front of India and other outfits.
